It is given 60 (sixty) days, then extendable 4 times every 30 days.

Apply to the consulate should not earlier than 3 months before traveling to Indonesia.

A visa is a single entry. If you left the country before the visa expires, cannot use this visa again – have to get a new one.

The visa is issued by Indonesian consulates located outside Indonesia. Impossible to get social visa, being in Indonesia.

Fees for Sosial visa about 45 US$.

- Passports valid for at least six months at the date of entry

- A copy of the main page of the passport

- A copy of the page with the entry stamp in a country where getting a visa

- Package of documents from your sponsor stating that he/she is responsible for you during your stay in Indonesia

- A completed visa form

- Copy of ticket to Indonesia

- 2 passport photos

Some consulates may additionally request.

You might have to include a bank statement to guarantee availability of funds for covering their expenses.

They may also have to provide proof of return or onward ticket (onward ticket to any destination booked for a date no later than 6 months after your date of entry into Indonesia for the maximum stay of the sosbud. Therefore, the package of documents is better to specify in advance.

Visa is issued in 2-3 working days from the date of filing.
